So literally my whole entire life I've been pronouncing this site as "dev dot too" but I've just heard someone refer to it as "dev dot tee oh".

Now I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out mostly with relief as I realized I've not actually verbalized the site's name in front of anyone and have therefore spared myself what I can only imagine to be considerable embarrassment.

But it made me think: the last time I did this was many years ago when people couldn't decide if GIFs had a hard or soft G. Is hard or soft G like tabs vs spaces?

So now I want to hear examples of when people called things the wrong thing for the longest time...

...or had that moment when they heard someone pronounce something and thought I never thought I should say it like that.
