I wanted to change the app icon dynamically without the need for a google release. I have been successful in it and was able to change it without need for restart or killing the app. The issue is that when app is not in default and I try to upgrade to a newer version it does not upgrade and says default icon class is not present. As I have used activity aliases for changing my app icons dynamically and when I change my app icon a new activity alias is enabled and the default one is disabled and during upgrade I guess it is looking for the same.
Please help me in this regard or suggest some other method which will help me in changing the app icon dynamically?
