Is it true that good programmers do not use the "else" clause?

I am always posting provoking post on my Linkedin, and I have decided to replicate those here. Let's socialize!

I think that is not a fair statement, but in my opinion, programmers that were lucky enough to meet an inspiring mentor or work in a smart team would rarely use it.

If you use "else if", that is more serious, I would suggest you go learn about cyclomatic complexity.

Notice that this post is not about simple "ifs and elses", but about coding skills and self-improvements
