I Got Tired of Re-Explaining My Code to ChatGPT, So I Built Codura

Hey folks, 👋

So, I’m a developer, and I use ChatGPT pretty much every day for work. It’s been a game-changer, but there was one thing that kept bugging me: every time I started a new chat, I had to re-upload parts of my code and re-explain what everything does. It was like hitting a reset button over and over again. 🙃

One day I thought, “Why am I doing this?” I figured there had to be a way for the AI to just remember my whole codebase so I could skip the boring part and get straight to solving problems. That’s how Codura (codura.cc) came to life.

What Codura Does
Codura is super simple: you upload your whole project from your desktop or clone it from GitHub. Once that’s done, you open a chat with the latest model (GPT-o1), and from there, you can just type stuff like “Add this feature” or “Refactor this component,” and Codura knows what you’re talking about.

The cool part? On the left, you’ll see your project structure update as the AI gives you new code, so you’re never left wondering where to put it. This feature is already live for early testers and is coming to everyone soon.

Give It a Try
I’m offering a 7-day free trial to get some feedback. If you’re tight on money or have another reason, DM me or send an email to https://www.codura.cc/contact , and I’ll hook you up with free access.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it! 😊
