What actually a Call stack is?
The Call Stack is a mechanism that JavaScript uses to maintain the order of execution. JavaScript is a single-threaded language, which means it can only perform one operation at a time. The call stack is the data structure that helps it manage this one-at-a-time execution of functions.
Let me explain you with an example.
Think of the call stack as a stack of plates in the kitchen to get washed. When you add a new plate, you place it on top of the stack, and when you remove one when it's done,you take it from the top anda place another one until everthing is done. The call stack works in a similar way, where functions and Variables are pushed onto the stack when they are called and popped off when they are finished.

Call Stack in Javascript are called by different names also:
1.Execution Stack
2.Control Stack
3.Runtime Stack
But don’t get confused! All these names point to the same thing: the call stack.

What is the Call Stack Used For?
Keep track of where you are in the code: It tells JavaScript which function is currently being executed and which functions need to be run next.
