Hi, I’m John—a software engineer with 10 years of experience in AI and machine learning. A few years ago, while I was the lead AI engineer at a startup, I quickly realized that discovering high quality open-source AI or machine learning projects was hard.

I'd spend countless hours sifting through GitHub, GitLab, and forums, only to find scattered resources, and the quality varied wildly. Some projects looked promising but were outdated or poorly documented, while others were so buried in obscure repositories that they were nearly impossible to find.

After months of frustration, I thought why wasn’t there a single directory & community where developers could easily discover open source AI & ML projects?

So I started building AIExh.com as a solo developer - a platform to discover high-quality open-source AI projects.
