Have you ever mistakenly deleted a working flow? If the answer is yes, know that you are not alone. Even the most experienced developers can sometimes accidentally delete a flow. If this has happened to you, don't worry - it's possible to restore a deleted flow. By following the steps in this article, you can quickly and easily restore a mistakenly deleted Power Automate flow and get back to business as usual.

Here, I'm using the "Manually trigger a flow" trigger, and I searched for "Power Automate Management". It gave me a few options. The action I am interested in is "List flows as admin".

Select the environment from which the flow was accidentally deleted. Run the flow.

After you successfully ran the flow, copy the JSON output and paste it into a text file. This will allow you to search for the details of the flow, including FlowID and DisplayName.

We will now edit the flow we are working on and add one more action.
Once again, search for "Power Automate Management" and select the "Restore Deleted Flow as Admin" action. Then, choose the environment and the flow that you want to restore.
Note that the flow will be restored as OFF, which means that you will need to enable it again.

In conclusion, accidentally deleting a Power Automate flow can be a frustrating experience, but it's important to remember that mistakes happen to even the most experienced developers. With these steps you will be able to quickly restore your deleted flow, saving you time and avoiding potential headaches. Don't let a deleted flow slow you down ;)
