What's new at AWS 📢

🔰 AWSLambda now supports tagging of Event Source Mappings and Code Signing Config resources

🔰 Tags are simple key-value pairs that customers can assign to AWS resources to easily organize, search, identify resources, and control access.

🔰 Prior to this launch, customer tagging was limited to Lambda Function resources.

🔰 With this launch, customers can now use tag-based controls to manage access to ESM or CSC resources used with their Lambda functions.

📌 Key Note:
⚕ This new feature of tagging ESM and CSC resources is available at no additional cost.
⚕ Event source mappings do not automatically inherit tags from functions and use Lambda API.

🔰 Since Using Lambda, customers can run code for virtually any type of applications or backend services with zero administration.

🔰 AWS Tagging Strategies include:
⚕ Tags for resource organization
⚕ Tags for cost allocation
⚕ Tags for automation
⚕ Tags for access control
⚕ Tagging for Reactive & Proactive governance
