Some Good Resources for Learning for Frontend Developers!

I love learning and believe it’s essential to dedicate time to it. Without this commitment, we might miss out on the latest updates and improvements. New additions can enhance performance and help us become better at our craft, so continuous learning is definitely part of my job!

There are some books that have been great resources for me, such as The Pragmatic Programmer.

I also make it a point to attend React conferences every year. It’s especially convenient now that many are online. This year’s conference provided excellent content, helping me update my React knowledge and improve my skills.

I have a strong preference for interactive content. When I was new to coding, I used Scrimba to build projects, which was very effective. Sometimes, the most expensive resources aren’t necessarily the best. I once invested in a costly course that was rushed and missed some basics, which I later learned from free or more affordable resources. So, if you’re starting with coding, don’t assume that paying more guarantees a better experience.

What I love most about interactive platforms is that you’re not just passively watching a course—you have a code editor on the screen and face challenges along the way. When an instructor explains something, you practice it immediately! 🖥️💡 They even make you stop to complete the challenge before continuing, which helps you focus and practice as you go.

Today, I completed a short course to stay up-to-date with the latest React additions in React 19. While Scrimba offers a certification for a fee, I opted for the free version since my goal was to learn practically, not to earn a certification. I found it fascinating to learn about the new React compiler, improved asset loading, and faster form submission handling. These updates are great for saving development time and enhancing performance. If you’re working with React, it’s definitely worth checking out! Here’s the course I took: Scrimba React Course.

Of course, you can always refer to documentation for updates, but this interactive approach makes learning more enjoyable. 🙌

Learning is always fun, and finding good resources makes it even more enjoyable! 😄 If you have any other great resources to recommend, feel free to share! 🌟
