Soler Resort North, a new luxury casino complex located in the city of Quezon, northeast of Manila, is preparing to launch its VIP gaming business in early September. This significant development follows the successful opening of the property on May 25, 2023, and marks a new stage for the resort as it aims to attract high-end customers.

The Solare Resort North complex, promoted by Bloomberry Resorts Corp., represents a major investment in the Philippine gaming industry. The $1 billion property boasts 526 rooms and suites and currently offers an expanded gaming floor with 2,669 electronic consoles and 163 gaming tables across four floors. This impressive array of gaming options positions Solare Resort North as a significant player in the region's competitive casino market.

A spokesperson for Bloomberry Resorts Corp recently confirmed to GGRAsia that VIP operations will begin in early September, although the exact number of VIP zone-only tables has yet to be revealed. VIP gaming facilities will be located on the resort's 36th and 37th floors, providing an exclusive and luxurious experience for players with high stakes. The official opening of these VIP zones is scheduled for the evening of Sept. 8.

Strong initial performance despite industry challenges

Bloomberry Resorts has already reported positive financial results for Soler Resorts North in the early days of operations. The company's consolidated net income for the second quarter ended June 30, 2023 was just $1.34 billion (roughly $23.7 million). However, the figure represents a decline in revenue compared to the previous quarter. The company's consolidated profit for the second quarter was just $3.64 billion (roughly $23.7 million), reflecting a 26.2% quarter-over-quarter decline and a 33.4% year-over-year decline.

Despite these challenges, Enrique Razon, chairman and chief executive of Bloombury, expressed satisfaction with Solare Resort North's initial performance. In remarks published alongside the latest financial results, Razon said the new resort "reported a positive EBITDA of £250 million in its first 37 days of operation." He added: "We are in the early stages of property growth and are pleased with the pace, particularly comparing it to Entertainment City's ramps 11 years ago." 파워볼사이트

a promising early indicator of success

Soler Resort North showed promising results in its first month of operation. The resort posted $2.25 billion in bulk sales and slot machine coin-ins reached $10.38 billion. These figures underscore strong demand for gaming for new properties and suggest Bloomberry is on track to be a major contributor to overall financial performance.

In addition to launching its VIP business, Bloomberry Resorts announced it is establishing an "annual dividend policy" to increase shareholder value. The company expects Soler Resorts North to continue to increase cash flow in the coming quarters, contributing to the group's financial stability and growth.
