- Insert the SIM Card Insert your TNT SIM card into your phone’s SIM slot and turn on the device.
- Automatic Activation (via Network) Wait for your phone to automatically detect the SIM card. You should receive a text message confirming the activation of your SIM card. If successful, you will be able to make calls, send texts, and use mobile data.
- Manual Activation via Text If you don’t receive any message or if the SIM is not automatically activated, you can activate it manually. Send a text message to 1515 containing the word: SIMREG.
- Register Your SIM Card (Philippines SIM Card Registration Act) Under the SIM Card Registration Act, you must register your SIM to activate it. Follow these steps for registration: Go to the Smart/TNT SIM Registration Portal: https://simreg.smart.com.ph Enter your TNT mobile number. Fill out the required personal details, including your name, birth date, address, and valid ID. After submitting, you should receive a confirmation of your registration and activation.
- Activate Mobile Data If you want to use mobile data, make sure the APN settings are configured correctly. APN: internet Authentication type: PAP or CHAP Bearer: LTE (or 4G, depending on your phone's capability)
- Check Activation To check if your SIM is fully activated, you can try: Making a call or sending a text message. Accessing the internet using mobile data. If activation doesn't work, you can contact TNT customer service by calling 888 from your TNT SIM or visiting a Smart store for assistance.
