What is an Azure Resource Group?

An Azure Resource Group is a logical container within Microsoft's Azure cloud platform. An Azure Resource Group contains similar resources for a service or application. These resources may include network interfaces, databases, storage accounts, virtual machines, and more.

Create a Resource Group in Azure Portal

Step 1: Navigate to Azure portal

Step 2: Login

Step 3: Search for resource group

Step 4: Create one

• select + Create.

• Give your Resource group a name.

• Select Review and then Create.
