Clinical reasoning cycle is a process used by nurses and medical staff to take care of the patient. The process of the clinical reasoning cycle is carried out by Levett Jones. For us it is very important that we have in-depth knowledge of the clinical reasoning cycle. We students have the work of assignment writing also so for us to write an impressive assignment we should have all the knowledge of key steps of clinical reasoning cycle in nursing and some related topics also. We are going to start with understanding the concept of what is the clinical reasoning cycle in nursing? It is important to know about nursing assignment help. Clinical Reasoning as we know is the cognitive process in which we students learn the steps to apply in actual situations with the patients. It is employed by clinicians, nurses, and other medical staff to analyse the condition of a patient, diagnose the disease, and create a plan for the patients so that they get proper treatment and zero possibilities for any mistake because sometimes it exacerbates the condition of the patient. If we take it in regular language, The clinical reasoning cycle is for nurses and medical staff to know what the patient is suffering from and what should we start with first and what should be the process for the patient's betterment. This cycle provides students with the necessary practices required to handle a patient and take good care even in critical conditions. There are 8 steps of the clinical reasoning cycle that we are going to read here and know about some related topics.

Here are the 8 Key Steps or Phases of the Clinical Reasoning Cycle:

Step 1: Consider the Situation of the Patient

First of all we have to understand the situation of the patient. We have to analyse the patient and know what the patient is going through and what symptoms are present in him at the time he enters the hospital.

Step 2 : Collect the Information of the Patient

After analysing the situation of the patient next, what we need is to collect the medical history of the patient so that to treat a condition of the patient we may not end up abrogating other medical condition of the patient this is a very crucial step to follow as a medical staff for patient’s betterment. We need to analyse everything and find the problem unsung the knowledge we have with the condition the patient is suffering from. To get to know what steps we should include and exclude from the patient's treatment plan.

Step 3 : Process the Information of the Patient

Now comes the third step as we have collected the information in the second step now in this step we will process the information. First we, as a nurse, interpret the entire data available for us and then we specify the actual and possible outcomes. We process all the data related to the patient's current health condition concerning all the patterns required like pharmacological pattern and pathophysiological pattern. When we have processed the entire data with pharmacological pattern and pathophysiological pattern. Now when we have processed the data we need to know the relevant details and calculate the possible outcomes that we may get for a possible decision to get. Now the patient’s health status presented to us based on the most current information is expected by the nurses to analyse. And think critically about the potential consequences of the choices made by the nurses.

Step 4 : Identify the Problem of the Patient

Once we have acquired all the required information we accumulate them and we determine or in medical language we can say diagnose the reason of the health condition of the patients that he is suffering from.

Step 5 : Establish the Goals

when after strictly following four steps we have known the disease, now it is the time that we should start treatment of the patient. But before we start the treatment as a medical staff and being responsible for saving a person’s life it is our responsibility that we clarify all the goals we are to achieve and what are going to be our priorities. It would be the best and quite helpful if we take action according to the urgency we have before us to cure. But we should consider that our goals must have five qualities: they should be Specific, Measurable,Achievable, Realistic, And time should be the most considerable aspect. This is called the SMART method and we should make the plan according to this method only. We should be fully aware of our goals we are willing to achieve with our treatment plan.

Step 6 : Time to Take the Action

Till now we have done the entire case study and made plans to achieve the goals. Now it is the time to take action and usher to implement the treatment plane we have made for our patient. If it is required that we need to do some changes in the plan according to the condition of the patient we should be prepared for that. It is also important that we keep our team members with the plan we have made.

Step 7 : Evaluate The Outcomes of the Treatment

In this step we need to see what outcomes are we deriving from our actions of treating the patient. We should check that after the treatment we have done is the patient stable or not. If we don’t get positive outcomes or we don’t get any outcome we should treat our patient according to another treatment plan. We should assess the result to know if our plan was effective or not. Did it improve the patient’s condition?

Step 8 : Reflect on the Process

This step is not for the patient, this is for the health professionals only. This process talks about what we have learned from our experience and what we should do to improve to get better than before. This process requires critical thinking about our performance and every step we have followed to check if any kind of improvement we need to do.

Nursing Assignment Related Topics

Here we are going to see 5 most important assignment related topics of nursing

1. Neonatology

Neonatology is a subspecialty of paediatrics that consists of the medical care of newborn infants, especially the ill or premature newborn. It is a hospital-based specialty and is usually practised in neonatal intensive care units.

2. Acute Coronary Syndrome

Acute coronary syndrome is a syndrome due to decreased blood flow in the coronary arteries such that part of the heart muscle is unable to function properly or dies.

3. Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease, or simply Parkinson's, is a long-term neurodegenerative disease of mainly the central nervous system that affects both the motor and non-motor systems of the body. The symptoms usually emerge slowly, and as the disease progresses, non-motor symptoms become more common.

4. Antibiotics Impact on Childhood Immunities

Antibiotics impact on childhood immunities; Effects of childhood exposure to environmental pollutants; Effects of second-hand smoke inhalation in early life.

5.Palliative Care

Palliative care is an interdisciplinary medical caregiving approach aimed at optimizing quality of life and mitigating suffering among people with serious, complex, and often terminal illnesses. Within the published literature, many definitions of palliative care exist.

Conclusion

Here we have seen the key steps of the clinical reasoning cycle in nursing . We have known what the clinical reasoning cycle is and how it works. We consider the situation of the patient and then collect the related information about him. After that we process the entire information we got and identify the problem of the patient we are to cure. Once we identify the problem in four steps now we will establish our goal to achieve in curing the patient. Then we implement our treatment plan. In the seventh step we check the outcome of our plan, had it been successful to cure the patient or stable patient’s condition. The eighth step is not for the patient, it is for nurses only to check how the treatment plan worked and what they should do to make it better and if the treatment plan didn’t work what were the reasons what they should do next. This process is important not only in patient care but also in providing academic writing help for assistance to nursing students, as it forms the basis for case studies and critical thinking in assignments
