Journey
My research process involved learning about decentralized applications and how blockchain technology can provide transparent voting systems. I focused on the Stellar network due to its speed and low transaction costs, which are essential for a voting application. The js-stellar-sdk was particularly appealing as it simplifies interactions with the Stellar blockchain.
Experience with the Ecosystem
My experience with the Stellar ecosystem has been enriching. The community is supportive, and the documentation provided by Stellar has been incredibly helpful. Engaging with other developers and users has opened my eyes to the potential of blockchain beyond just cryptocurrencies.
Motivation Behind My Submission
The motivation behind this project came from a desire to empower communities by providing a platform where users can propose projects and vote using Stellar tokens. I believe that decentralized voting can enhance transparency and trust in decision-making processes
What I Am Particularly Proud Of
I am particularly proud of the app's user-friendly interface, which allows users to easily propose and vote on projects
Future Aspirations
Moving forward, I hope to expand this project by incorporating more features, such as project tracking and reward systems for participants. I also aim to explore further integrations with other blockchain technologies, enhancing the app's functionality and reach.
