Who doesn’t like kalakand? But so many of us, like 77 million or 7.7 crore of us have to think twice before eating it. Why you ask? Because of the amount of sugar in it. Itna sugar, why? So we have tried to make a sugar free kalakand recipe here. Not only can the diabetics eat it, but so can others. It’s a healthier option. You should definitely choose this over sugar wala option.

Ingredients
(for delicious sugar free kalakand)

  1. 1 tablespoon ghee
  2. 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
  3. 2 to 4 tablespoons of Sweetify stevia sweetener (added as per preferred sweetness level)
  4. 1 big cup of heavy whipping cream
  5. 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
  6. 1 tablespoon pistachios
  7. 1 tablespoon dried rose petals
  8. A little kesar
  9. 1 tablespoon rose water

How to Make

Step 1: In a frying pan, add the ricotta cheese, Sweetify stevia sweetener, rose water and heavy whipping cream. Stir regularly and mix well on medium heat. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the mixture thickens and reduces by half.

Step 2: When the mixture turns fudgy and stops sticking to the pan, add the ghee and the ground cardamom, stir and mix well and turn off the heat.

Step 3: Pour the mixture into another utensil and shape it. Garnish the kalakand mixture with the pistachios, kesar and dried rose petals.

Step 4: Let is rest for 2 hours. Don’t refrigerate it. Thoda araam karne do use. Lastly, eat and enjoy!
