And now I stand at 9100 followers. Just 900 away from hitting 10K. If I hit 10K I will make the best todo app in the entire world. Today I will be listing 5 features that Dev.to should add to beat youtube 😅. Let's begin the list
FOLLOWERS
I think dev.to should definitely bring the followers count into the profile. It will begin a competitive nature in the platform. I know that's what they want to avoid but yeah I love the followers count in youtube, Instagram and Facebook. Thats why I want this back
GALLERY
Next, we need a gallery of good posts that can be set up in the profile page. It would definitely be cool. So yeah, eyes on that dev.to
VIDEOS BETTERMENT
We definitely need a good video uploading system because yeah it would be cool
MORE ADS !
Users would not love this but this will bring a ton of new money. So, you can integrate more ads in the homepage, post page and the profile pages
MONETIZATION
If you have ads bringing more money definitely need to credit and give some amount to people who cross milestones. This will attract a ton of people
DESIGN AMPLIFICATION
There are some flaws in the dev.to UI so we need some better UI design. After all we all are developers right?
