One is dropped in a pot of boiling hot water and instantly tries to climb out of it.

The second one, though, sits in a pot of tepid liquid and enjoys the view.

• She does not try anything new,
• She does not experiment with new tools,
• She thinks she already has everything that is needed.

She does not feel the need for change.

Meanwhile the temperature rises, very slowly.

At some point, the second frog, simply dies.

She was boiled to death and did not notice.
