Types of Architecture that are been incorporated in DBMS :

1) Two-level architecture. 👈
2) Three-tier architecture. 👈

1> Two-level architecture is way similar to the basic client-server model. The application at the client end directly communicates with the database on the server-side.API's like ODBC, JDBC are used for this interaction. The server side is responsible for providing query processing and transaction management functionalities 👈. On the client-side establishes a connection with the server-side in order to communicate with the DBMS.

Advantage :

1> maintenance and understanding are easier.
2> This architecture is compatible with the existing systems.
