We at Team XenoX love Telegram as much we love Dev.to. Telegram is our go-to place for day-to-day team chats, whether formal or informal. We tried using Slack for a while, but soon realized it wasn't a good fit. There were a lot of limitations, it was heavy, and it simply didn't feel worth the hassle. So we switched to Telegram and have been using it ever since. We love it because it does everything we need it to do: it's present on both desktop and mobile (and is quite lightweight!), it cares about our privacy, and honestly it just feels more fun!
I mean, have you seen their sticker collection? It's MASSIVE! Then there's all the countless beautiful themes available for Telegram, and they are fully customizable! And all the helpful inline bots are just the cherry on top. There has never been an easier way to spam gifs when you're sharing an excited moment with your team.

But there's another reason why I personally love using Telegram - all the amazing Telegram Channels. For those of you uninitiated in the wonders of Telegram, let me tell you what an absolute goldmine Telegram Channels can be. You can find channels about pretty much everything from tech, news, books and entertainment to art, gaming, travel, and everything in between!
