The HT1621B is a versatile LCD controller/driver IC specifically designed for small to large size LCDs. It is produced by Holtek. Description: The HT1621B provides a complete LCD driver solution which can drive 1/2/4/8-bit Dot Matrix LCDs. It integrates a display RAM, segment and common drivers and can be easily accessed by the 6800/8000-series or compatible microprocessors. It includes a built-in oscillator, LCD bias generator and LCD voltage booster. It is a 4-level LCD driver with a built-in oscillator and clock generator. It is designed for driving LCDs with up to 8 common lines and up to 40 segment lines.The HT1621B has a wide operating voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V and a low operating current of 1.5mA. It also features an adjustable duty cycle, adjustable oscillator frequency, and adjustable LCD bias voltage. It also has a built-in power-on reset circuit, a low power consumption standby mode, and a low power consumption sleep mode.The HT1621B is suitable for a wide range of applications such as digital clocks, digital watches, calculators, and other LCD display applications.
