We're back again on AzureFunBytes with another COMBO session. COMBOs are live sessions with vendors who provide products that help you get the most out of your Azure experience. This time we'll dive into the HashiCorp Consul product along with some help. Zach Deptawa from the Azure Advocates team helps me along with HashiCorp DevRels Taylor Dolezal and Kerim Satirli!
From the HashiCorp Consul Website:
Consul is a service mesh solution providing a full featured control plane with service discovery, configuration, and segmentation functionality. Each of these features can be used individually as needed, or they can be used together to build a full service mesh. Consul requires a data plane and supports both a proxy and native integration model. Consul ships with a simple built-in proxy so that everything works out of the box, but also supports 3rd party proxy integrations such as Envoy
We'll discuss how to configure and integrate Consul into our Azure applications! We'll answer questions, do some demos, and learn together!
